Privacy, Compliance & IP Lead

We are looking for a Privacy, Compliance & IP Lead who will become a partner for our product and business teams, helping us build compliant, scalable solutions without slowing innovation.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a small Privacy & Compliance team while promoting a compliance-by-design mindset across the company;
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing and engineering teams to identify regulatory risks early and turn legal requirements into practical product solutions;
  • Take ownership of privacy and compliance initiatives - from problem identification to implementation in live products;
  • Conduct data protection assessments and audits, maintain internal privacy frameworks and policies, and deliver internal trainings;
  • Advise on key digital regulations, including DSA, OSA, consumer protection and online safety requirements;
  • Draft and negotiate data protection provisions in commercial agreements;
  • Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement trends impacting online products;
  • Support and progressively take ownership of intellectual property matters, including IP protection strategy, enforcement coordination and dispute management across jurisdictions.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, IP or technology law (EU/UK/US), ideally in tech, platforms or gaming;
  • Strong practical GDPR expertise (policies, DPAs, DPIAs and risk assessments);
  • Experience working directly with product and technical teams in dynamic environments;
  • Ability to balance legal risk with product and business objectives;
  • Confidence and communication skills to guide stakeholders and lead cross-functional discussions;
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace and Confluence;
  • IAPP certification is a plus;
  • Professional English and Russian are required;
  • Interest in video games professionally or personal - is highly valued.
